Better Said Than Done, Inc. created the Women's Storytelling Festival in 2020, the nation's first and only storytelling festival devoted to women

The festival is held annually over three days in March, featuring both in-person and virtual livestreaming events in Virginia

The organization supports women and gender-expansive storytellers who share folktales, fairytales, historical tales, and personal stories to build empathy and community

The Virginia House of Delegates formally commends the organization for its contributions to storytelling and women's empowerment
