Prior to legislative service, Coyner served eight years on the Chesterfield County School Board and founded Rudy Coyner Attorneys at Law, practicing real estate, construction, and land use law

Received numerous awards from 2021-2025 including Legislator of the Year from the Virginia Chamber of Commerce (2023), Legislative Champion from the Virginia Education Association, and Child Care Champion from Virginia Promise in Action

Resolution directs the Clerk of the House to present a copy to Coyner as an expression of admiration for her service to constituents and the Commonwealth
