Bay Aging, established June 26, 1978, has served older residents across 10 counties on Virginia's Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck for 48 years, assisting more than 36,400 individuals throughout its history

Bay Transit, launched in 1996 with a single vehicle, has grown to a fleet of more than 50 buses serving 12 counties and providing over 132,000 annual rides

The organization operates 11 senior apartment complexes and one workforce housing community, along with home repair, weatherization, and indoor plumbing rehabilitation services

Bay Aging's Veteran Directed Care program began as a 2008 pilot serving four veterans and has expanded into a multi-state "Super-Hub" currently serving more than 1,700 veterans

The House of Delegates formally commends Bay Aging for its contributions in health, housing, and transportation services to older Virginians
