Friendship Retirement Community is commended on the occasion of its 60th anniversary, having been established in 1966 in Southwest Virginia

The nonprofit organization employs more than 1,100 team members and serves approximately 1,500 residents across multiple campuses in the Roanoke and Salem region

Services provided include independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, physician services, and wellness programs

The organization maintains a commitment that no resident will be asked to leave due to financial hardship, continuing care for those who have outlived their financial resources

The Clerk of the House of Delegates is directed to prepare a copy of the resolution for presentation to Friendship Retirement Community
