Beverly Cosham is commended as a nationally acclaimed cabaret singer who has performed at prestigious venues including Blues Alley Club, Folger Theatre, The Shakespeare Theatre Company, and the World Bank

Performed as guest artist with the City of Fairfax Band, McLean Symphony, and the U.S. Navy Band's Commodores jazz ensemble, and has recorded several albums

Developed educational programs including classes for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at George Mason University and a master class called "Acting Up a Song" teaching children improvisation through song interpretation

Served as president of the Reston Community Orchestra, chair of the Reston Community Center's Board of Governors, and founding member of the Reston Chorale, Reston Community Players, Lorton Arts Foundation, and Fairfax County Grant Advisory Panel

Received the Best of Reston award from the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce and was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award and two Washington Music Awards
