Virginia Farm Bureau Federation celebrates its 100th anniversary on February 26, 2026, having been incorporated in 1926 as a voluntary, nonpartisan organization supporting agriculture and forestry industries

Organization comprises 88 county farm bureaus operating over 100 offices statewide and serving more than 136,000 member households

Federation has provided grain marketing services since 1972, insurance products since 1950, and programs for farm women since the 1940s and young farmers since 1975

Operates The Meadow Event Park in Caroline County, birthplace of Secretariat and home to the State Fair of Virginia

House of Delegates formally commends the organization, known as "The Voice of Virginia Agriculture," for its century of service to farm families and rural communities
