Commends the Tasley Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. for 100 years of service protecting lives and property in Tasley and Accomack County, Virginia

The company was formally incorporated on August 12, 1927, after originating in 1926 when a sawmill fire prompted community members to purchase firefighting equipment

Currently operates a fleet of five emergency vehicles responding to more than 300 emergency calls annually, including fires, vehicle accidents, extrications, rescues, and hazardous materials incidents

Moved to a new station on Tasley Road on July 11, 2020, after operating from its original two-story concrete block station that received additions in 1931, 1974, and 2001

Has remained entirely volunteer-staffed since its founding and is a charter member of the Del-Mar-Va Volunteer Firemen's Association and the Accomack–Northampton Firemen's Association
