Virginia House Resolution commending Dave and Linda Cryer for more than 23 years of community leadership and volunteer service in Middlesex County since moving there in 2002

The Cryers constructed and donated the Cryer Center in 2010, which houses Hands Across Middlesex, the Middlesex County Food Pantry, the Clothing Closet, and a community Yard Sale

Dave Cryer serves as chair of the Middlesex County Food Pantry, volunteers regularly to pick up and deliver surplus food and furniture, and is an active Kiwanis Club member

The couple has fostered more than 30 children in addition to raising six children of their own

The resolution directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to prepare a copy for presentation to the Cryers
