Dr. Barrows earned her medical degree and completed her residency at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine before joining VCU Health as an attending physician

Specially trained in minimally invasive surgery, enabling her to assist women with various health conditions and needs

Serves as assistant professor in VCU School of Medicine's Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology, training future doctors and conducting women's health research

Resolution directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to present a copy to Dr. Barrows as recognition of her contributions to women's health in Virginia
