Acknowledges his faith leadership journey, including being licensed and ordained in Gospel Ministry in 1978 and 1980, and pastoring at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Madison County for over 15 years

Notes his extensive regional Baptist leadership roles, including moderator of the Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association and the Mattaponi Baptist Association of Virginia
