Amends § 15.2-1609.2 of the Code of Virginia regarding compensation for full-time deputy sheriffs serving as courtroom security officers, correctional officers, or law-enforcement officers

Beginning July 1, 2026, establishes an annual salary increase of $100 for each full year of service for qualifying deputy sheriffs

Maintains existing requirement that deputy sheriff salaries cannot exceed 90% of the salary of the employing sheriff

Preserves existing minimum salary standards tied to the state correctional officer classification and pay system administered by the Department of Human Resource Management
