Maintains existing provisions requiring school boards to give written notice of nonrenewal to probationary teachers by June 15, with automatic contract entitlement if no notice is given

Preserves school board authority to reduce teacher numbers due to decreased enrollment or abolished subjects, with required notification within two weeks of budget approval but no later than July 1
