Establishes a protocol requiring Virginia's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to release decedent information (name, date of death, next of kin contact) to the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia in cases where Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) is determined as the cause of death

Defines SUDEP as the sudden, unexplained death of a healthy individual with epilepsy under benign circumstances, excluding trauma, drowning, or status epilepticus

Requires the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia to provide next of kin with information about submitting the deceased's medical history to the North American SUDEP Registry

Adds new section 32.1-283.9 to the Code of Virginia governing death investigation protocols
