Expands eligibility for veterinary medicine traineeships to include graduates of American Veterinary Medical Association-accredited colleges who have not yet passed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)

Allows foreign veterinary graduates registered in the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) program to participate in traineeships if they have passed the NAVLE and completed all ECFVG steps except the clinical proficiency examination

Trainees must practice under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian as part of a Board-approved traineeship program

Amends § 54.1-3805.3 of the Code of Virginia to specify the two categories of individuals eligible for limited practice through traineeships
