Permits high school students to substitute African American History or Advanced Placement African American Studies for World History I or World Geography to satisfy history and social studies graduation credit requirements

Requires students making this substitution to pass a local alternative assessment or Board-approved equivalent examination to receive graduation credit

Limits the substitution option to students who have enrollment access to African American History or AP African American Studies courses at their school

Directs the Board of Education to amend regulations so students using this substitution are not required to earn a verified credit in World History I or World Geography to graduate
