Allows clear film to be applied to vehicle windshields, provided the film is maintained in a condition consistent with federal safety standard 49 C.F.R. § 571.205 (Standard No. 205, Glazing Materials)

Amends Virginia Code § 46.2-1052, which governs tinting films, signs, decals, and stickers on windshields and windows

Replaces previous language requiring windshield film not impair visibility with a specific federal compliance standard

Current law already prohibits darkening material on windshields except for manufacturer-installed sunshields in the uppermost area; this change clarifies standards for clear protective films
