Requires the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) to provide training to local school division staff on Medicaid billing for reimbursable services at school sites, including compliance with the federal Bipartisan Safer Communities Act

Training must cover federal Medicaid billing processes, reimbursement procedures for school-provided services, identification of newly eligible services, compliance requirements, and best practices for documentation

DMAS may provide direct support including workshops for school administrators, technical assistance on submitting claims for mental health services, therapy, speech pathology, and other health-related services

Training must be provided virtually and at least semi-annually, with DMAS coordinating efforts with the Department of Education to notify school divisions of training opportunities

Aims to ensure all school divisions can fully leverage Medicaid funding opportunities to enhance student health services throughout the Commonwealth
