Circuit court clerks must disburse just compensation in condemnation or inverse condemnation proceedings within seven business days after the court order is entered or funds are received, whichever is later.

Condemnation certificates must be filed with the clerk and assigned a single case number on the same day they are recorded in land records, streamlining tracking of related filings.

Jury panels for condemnation trials must be provided to counsel at least 10 full business days before trial, containing 30-75 eligible freeholder jurors with their name, age, address, occupation, and employer.

The $25,000 cap on reimbursement for expenses to reestablish a displaced farm, nonprofit organization, or small business at a new site is removed.

These provisions apply to condemnation petitions filed or certificates recorded on or after July 1, 2026.
