Establishes the Sickle Cell Coordinated Access Network under the Virginia Commissioner of Health in collaboration with Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems Authority

Provides health care providers across Virginia with real-time telehealth consultation and support from sickle cell specialists for extended coverage hours

Network specialists will offer guidance on pain management, consultation on treatment protocols, and coordination of care for patients with sickle cell trait and disease

Requires the State Health Commissioner to submit recommendations on establishing and maintaining the Network to legislative committees by December 1, 2026

Network provisions take effect July 1, 2027
