Dr. Jones earned his bachelor's degree from Virginia Union University in 1964 and his doctor of dentistry degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1974

Established his first dental practice in Richmond in 1976 and provided dental care to the community for over 50 years

Active member of the Old Dominion Dental Society, Peter B. Ramsey Dental Society, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity for more than 50 years

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to present a copy of the resolution to his surviving family, including his four children
