Robert Blane Maxwell III of Henrico County, a printing industry leader, died on May 17, 2025, and is honored by this joint resolution agreed to by the Senate on March 5, 2026, and the House of Delegates on March 9, 2026

Maxwell graduated from William H. Hall High School in Connecticut in 1969, earned a bachelor's degree in printing management from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in education from the University of Lynchburg

His printing career spanned companies including Meredith-Burda, Quebecor, R.R. Donnelley & Sons, and Shorewood Packaging, serving clients such as Macy's, Avon, Sears, and Ethan Allen before owning a Minuteman Press franchise in Glen Allen from 2003 until retirement in 2019

Maxwell served his community as a board member of the Great Aspirations Scholarship Program, the Innsbrook Foundation, and the Career and Technical Education program for Henrico County Public Schools

He is survived by his wife Lois, sons Blane and Ryan and their families
