Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry University won its second consecutive Intercollegiate Dressage Association team national championship in April 2025 at the National Equestrian Center in Lake St. Louis, Missouri

The team set a new record with nine IDA national championship titles total—five at Emory & Henry University and four previous titles at Virginia Intermont College

Key performances included first-place victories by seniors Abigail Williamson and Meaghan Croteau in Upper Training and Lower Training events

The Virginia Senate formally commends the team and directs the Clerk of the Senate to prepare a copy of the resolution for presentation to the program
