Windsor Ruritan Club celebrated its 95th anniversary, having been founded in March 1930 with approximately 25-30 charter members including farmers, business owners, and community leaders

One of the earliest chapters of Ruritan National, the club helped create the organization's governing structure and establish its mission of "Fellowship, Goodwill, and Community Service"

Partnered with the Town of Windsor in 1950 to build the Windsor Community House, which serves as a gathering place for meetings, social events, and civic programs

Hosts charitable events including an annual Pig Pickin' Festival, with proceeds funding college scholarships, youth programs, Boys State and Girls State participation, scouting troops, and educational initiatives

Provides ongoing support to local institutions including the Windsor Volunteer Rescue Squad, youth organizations, and community programs
