Commends Belvin "Butch" Williamson, Jr., on his retirement as president and chief executive officer of A&N Electric Cooperative after more than 45 years in the electric utility industry

Williamson began his career on May 1, 1980, as a summer laborer at a South Carolina electric cooperative and joined A&N Electric Cooperative on May 1, 2016

Under his leadership, A&N Electric Cooperative served nearly 40,000 homes and businesses across Accomack and Northampton counties, including Tangier Island, Virginia, and Smith Island, Maryland

Williamson served in the Army National Guard and received the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Award in 2023

Directs the Clerk of the Senate to prepare a copy of the resolution for presentation to Williamson
