Earned military decorations including the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Combat Action Ribbon for bravery and service

Worked as a welder and pipe fitter on large-scale projects throughout Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region, and crafted handmade jewelry, knives, and belt buckles as a skilled metalworker

The Clerk of the House of Delegates is directed to prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to his surviving family, including his mother Wanda and children Joshua and Brooke
