Creates a Blenderized Tube Feeding Study Committee to explore benefits and recommend ways to reduce barriers to using blended foods administered through feeding tubes

Committee membership includes 6 members: Commissioner of Health (chair), Commissioner for Children and Families, Agency of Agriculture representative, a caregiver who administers blenderized tube feeding, a pediatric gastroenterologist, and a certified dietitian

Study will evaluate impacts on feeding intolerance (gagging, vomiting, reflux), medication needs, hospitalization rates, costs of fresh food and equipment, and health insurance coverage compared to commercial enteral nutrition products

Committee must hold first meeting by July 1, 2025 and submit findings and legislative recommendations to House and Senate health committees by January 15, 2026

Department of Health provides administrative support; members receive per diem compensation for up to 5 meetings
