Amends Vermont's grand larceny statute (13 V.S.A. § 2501) to classify theft of any firearm as grand larceny, regardless of the firearm's monetary value

Currently, grand larceny requires stolen property to exceed $900 in value; firearms would become an exception to this threshold

Grand larceny penalties include imprisonment up to 10 years, a fine up to $5,000, or both

"Firearm" is defined by reference to section 4016 of Title 13

Takes effect immediately upon passage
