Impaired Driver Rehabilitation Program fees must be set based on an individual's gross income relative to the federal poverty level when a fee reduction is requested

Individuals with annual gross income at or below 175% of federal poverty guidelines pay no program fees; those up to 575% of poverty guidelines qualify for discounted fees

Current maximum fees remain: $250 for Alcohol and Driving Education Program, $200 for alcohol assessment screening, and $625 for combined intensive/weekend residential programs

Commissioner of Motor Vehicles must adopt rules establishing a graduated fee schedule by January 1, 2026; income information disclosed for fee reductions must remain confidential

Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and Department of Health must conduct outreach to ensure eligible individuals know about fees and available discounts
