Requires courts to designate an authorized person to receive after-hours requests for emergency relief orders, including requests submitted electronically

Permits electronic submission of complaints and affidavits when a secure setting is unavailable or when deemed appropriate by the authorized person

Allows affidavits to be sworn via telephone by the authorized person, with the applicant declaring statements true under penalty of perjury pursuant to 13 V.S.A. § 2904

Requires the authorized person to transmit complaints to a judicial officer for decision, with approved orders delivered to law enforcement for service
