Amends 17 V.S.A. § 2680 to clarify that municipalities may vote to adopt the Australian ballot system for either specific municipal officers or all municipal officers

Prescribes two standard ballot question formats: one for electing specified officers by Australian ballot, and one for electing all municipal officers by Australian ballot

Protects the validity of all municipal officer elections held at 2025 annual meetings from challenges based on procedural non-compliance with the new or prior provisions

Shields past municipal votes to elect some (but not all) officers by Australian ballot from legal challenge for failure to comply with statutory procedures

Signed by the Governor on February 13, 2025 and took effect immediately upon passage
