Amends Vermont real property disclosure requirements to require sellers to provide buyers with a copy of or link to the official FEMA flood insurance rate map for the community, replacing previous requirements to disclose whether the property is in a special or moderate flood hazard area

Adds new mandatory disclosure of whether the property experienced flooding or flood damage during the seller's ownership, including damage from inundation, flood-related erosion, or landslides

Allows buyers to recover damages, attorney's fees, and punitive damages (for knowing violations) if sellers fail to provide required flood-related disclosures

Protects sellers from liability when disclosure errors are based on information from public bodies or licensed professionals that the seller reasonably believed to be correct

Takes effect September 1, 2025; signed by Governor on June 11, 2025
