Creates the Secondary School Use of Athletic Trainers Working Group to study whether licensed athletic trainers should be required at all secondary school athletic events and practices

Working Group includes 8 members representing the Agency of Education, Vermont Principals' Association, School Boards Association, Superintendents Association, Vermont NEA, Athletic Directors Association, and two athletic trainer representatives

Working Group must explore cost-effective options for sharing athletic trainers between districts or supervisory unions

Report with findings and legislative recommendations due to House and Senate Education Committees by December 1, 2025; first meeting required by September 1, 2025

Non-state employee members eligible for per diem compensation for up to 6 meetings; act takes effect July 1, 2025
