Creates the CHINS Statutory Revision Task Force to review and consider revising Vermont statutes governing children in need of supervision (CHINS)

Task Force includes 9 members: Chief Superior Judge, Attorney General, Defender General, DCF Commissioner, Child/Youth/Family Advocate, Department of State's Attorneys and Sheriffs Executive Director, and representatives from Vermont Parent Representation Center, Prevent Child Abuse Vermont, and Lund

Task Force must study whether the definition of "reasonable efforts" under 33 V.S.A. § 5102(25) should be updated, whether § 5102 should otherwise be revised, and whether chapter 53 should be amended generally

Written report with findings and legislative recommendations due to Joint Legislative Justice Oversight Committee and both Judiciary Committees by November 15, 2025

First meeting must occur by July 1, 2025; Task Force ceases to exist on February 1, 2026
