Requires insurers to guarantee acceptance of Medicare supplement insurance applications during the six-month period after an individual turns 65 and during an annual open enrollment period aligned with the federal Medicare Part D enrollment period

Prohibits insurers from charging higher premiums, additional fees, or penalties to applicants who did not enroll in Medicare supplement coverage during their initial enrollment period at age 65

Bans preexisting condition exclusions, restrictions, or limitations in Medicare supplement insurance policies

Allows enrollees to switch at any time from one Medicare supplement policy to another offering comparable or lesser benefits

Takes effect July 1, 2025
