Prohibits use of the title "social worker" or related initials, and advertising services as a "social worker," unless the person holds a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from a Council of Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited program

Prohibits state agencies, their subdivisions, contractors, and private entities from using or permitting the "social worker" title for employees who lack a CSWE-accredited degree

Specifies that the Council of Social Work Education (or its successor) is the accrediting body for social work programs qualifying individuals for licensure under Vermont law

Violations of these provisions are subject to penalties under 3 V.S.A. § 127
