School districts and approved independent schools must designate at least two trained employees per school to administer seizure rescue medications and vagus nerve stimulator (VNS) magnets beginning in the 2027-2028 school year

Parents of students with seizure disorders must collaborate with schools to create individualized seizure action plans, including written authorization and health care provider documentation for medication administration

All public and approved independent schools must provide biennial training on seizure recognition and first aid to principals, teachers, bus drivers, classroom aides, and other personnel with direct student contact

Schools must provide age-appropriate seizure education programs to all students, consistent with Epilepsy Foundation of America guidelines

Agency of Education must maintain a public online compliance database, conduct random audits, and submit annual reports to the General Assembly by January 15 each year summarizing compliance rates and implementation challenges
