Extends the report deadline for the County and Regional Governance Study Committee from November 1, 2025 to December 15, 2026

Extends the committee's existence from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2027

Adds a new study topic requiring the committee to examine the Agency of Administration's role in responding to all hazards events

Modifies committee membership appointment process by removing automatic chair designations from House and Senate Government Operations committees, instead having all legislative appointees selected by the Speaker of the House and Committee on Committees

Takes effect upon passage
