Vermont General Assembly celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Vermont Arts Exchange (VAE), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts and community development organization established in 1994 in North Bennington

VAE offers studio-based programs in papermaking, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, writing, music, and dance, with a focus on outdoor and environmental art

Organization created 15 affordable housing units for low and moderate income families with artist studio space through a 1998 partnership with Housing Vermont

VAE operates the "Art Bus" traveling art studio and moved to 48 Main Street in 2015, establishing a "campus model" of arts programming serving Bennington County and beyond

Secretary of State directed to send copies of the resolution to VAE and the Bennington Museum, which is hosting a month-long exhibit recognizing VAE's achievements beginning April 5, 2025
