Tyler (Tucker) Riggs of Fletcher, proprietor of LSF Forest Products, LLC in Jeffersonville, received the Vermont Outstanding Sawmill Operator 2024 award from the Vermont Forest Products Association

LSF Forest Products was established by Riggs's father in 2003, and Tucker Riggs returned to Vermont to develop the business into a community-focused sawmill operation

LSF is doubling its annual production capacity to approximately one million board feet per year, funded by a Vermont Working Lands Enterprise Initiative Supply Chain Impact Grant

Riggs enrolled in the University of Vermont Extension's Forest Business program to enhance operations and business skills
