House concurrent resolution honoring Edward M. Hathaway, a U.S. EPA engineer who died on March 7, 2025 at age 63 from pancreatic cancer

Hathaway served 36 years at the EPA, beginning as a manager in the Superfund Division after earning an environmental science degree from Northern Arizona University

Supervised two Vermont Superfund cleanup projects: the Ely Copper Mine in Vershire and the Elizabeth Mine in Strafford, directing over $100 million to the latter project

Received multiple EPA awards including "Mentor of the Year" and was recognized for his ability to bring conflicting parties to viable solutions on environmental problems

Directs the Secretary of State to send a copy of the resolution to Hathaway's family, including his wife Ann-Marie Burke, sons, and parents
