Received the Ford Foundation's Leadership for a Changing World award in 2002 alongside co-director Brenda Torpy, and the George Nutting Community Catalyst Award from Vermont Housing and Conservation Board in 2019

Led the merger of BCLT and Lake Champlain Housing Development Corporation into Champlain Housing Trust, then served nine years as finance director and deputy director of Brattleboro Housing Authority
