Expresses the General Assembly's sincere condolences to the family and colleagues of Stuart Alan Hurd, who served as Bennington Town Manager for nearly 33 years (1992-2025) and died on August 30, 2025 at age 77

Honors Hurd's over 50 years of municipal service in Bennington, beginning in 1973 as the town's first zoning administrator, then as assistant town manager before becoming town manager

Recognizes his receipt of the Vermont League of Cities and Towns' prestigious Vermont Municipal Service Award in 2008

Notes his community involvement including service on the Bennington School District Board and local nonprofit organizations

Directs the Secretary of State to send copies of the resolution to Hurd's family and the Town of Bennington
