The Vermont General Assembly honors Lexa and Steve Clark for their decades of civic participation and leadership in the Town of Jamaica.

Lexa Clark's service includes organizing the Jamaica Rescue Squad in the 1970s, serving on the village school board (1977–1980), town auditor and bookkeeper (1979–1980), Jamaica Selectboard member for 12 years (2006–2018), and chairing the board during Tropical Storm Irene recovery.

Steve Clark served 52 years as Jamaica's trustee of public funds, three decades as town grand juror, on the village school board (1982–1985), planning commission (1979–1988), and over 50 years with fire and rescue services.

Steve Clark has served as Jamaica Historical Foundation president since 2005 and worked professionally as a Vermont National Bank vice president for nearly 25 years.
