Prohibits law enforcement from requesting consent to search a vehicle, driver, or passengers following a traffic stop for a moving violation

Restricts officers from questioning drivers or passengers about subjects unrelated to the moving violation unless they detect evidence establishing reasonable suspicion of an independent criminal offense

Bars officers from stopping vehicles solely to enforce misdemeanor warrants, except for DUI, violation of abuse prevention/stalking orders, or domestic assault warrants

Makes any evidence recovered during stops, detentions, or searches that violate these provisions inadmissible in criminal proceedings, with an effective date of July 1, 2025
