Prohibits possession of machine guns, bump-fire stocks, and rapid-fire devices in Vermont, expanding existing bump-fire stock ban under 13 V.S.A. § 4022

Defines "machine gun" as any weapon that shoots automatically more than one shot by a single trigger function, including frames, receivers, and conversion parts

Defines "rapid-fire device" as any device (including auto sears) that increases a firearm's rate of fire or trigger activation rate when installed

Violations punishable by up to one year imprisonment, fine up to $1,000, or both

Takes effect immediately upon passage
