Allows aggregation of stolen property values across multiple petit larceny offenses committed with one or more persons within 180 days to meet the $900.00 threshold for grand larceny charges

Applies the same aggregation rule to retail theft, permitting felony charges when combined merchandise value exceeds $900.00 across multiple incidents within 180 days

Grand larceny carries penalties of up to 10 years imprisonment and/or fines up to $5,000.00

Felony retail theft (over $900.00) carries penalties of up to 10 years imprisonment and/or fines up to $1,000.00

Takes effect immediately upon passage
