Amends 9 V.S.A. § 2795 to update Vermont's appliance efficiency standards by aligning with federal regulations in 10 C.F.R. §§ 430 and 431 as they existed on January 19, 2025, rather than the previous reference date of January 19, 2017

Removes several outdated state-specific standards from statute, including those for medium voltage dry-type distribution transformers, metal halide lamp fixtures, residential furnaces and boilers, external AC to DC power supplies, incandescent reflector lamps, general service lamps, air compressors, high CRI fluorescent lamps, portable air conditioners, and uninterruptible power supplies

Retains state-specific standards for commercial foodservice equipment (dishwashers, fryers, hot-food holding cabinets, steam cookers), computers and monitors, faucets and showerheads, urinals, portable electric spas, residential ventilating fans, spray sprinkler bodies, and water coolers

Maintains water conservation standards stricter than federal requirements, including lavatory faucets at 1.5 gpm, residential kitchen faucets at 1.8 gpm, showerheads at 2.0 gpm, and urinals at 0.5 gallons per flush

Takes effect on July 1, 2026
