Clarifies that the 20-year lookback period for enhanced DUI penalties is calculated from the date of the new violation, not the date of conviction for the new offense

Second DUI offense within 20 years: fine up to $1,500, imprisonment up to 2 years, and mandatory 80 hours community service or 60 consecutive hours imprisonment

Third DUI offense (with at least one prior conviction within 20 years): fine up to $2,500, imprisonment up to 5 years, and mandatory 96 consecutive hours imprisonment

Fourth or subsequent DUI offense (with at least one prior conviction within 20 years): fine up to $5,000, imprisonment up to 10 years, and mandatory 192 consecutive hours imprisonment

Takes effect immediately upon passage
