State General Fund must reimburse the Department of Fish and Wildlife for revenue lost from statutorily required free, discounted, or exempt hunting, fishing, trapping, and combination licenses beginning July 1, 2026

Reimbursement amount equals the full value of lost revenue from free, discounted, or exempted licenses

Commissioner of Fish and Wildlife must submit annual accounting of lost revenue to the Commissioner of Finance and Management by June 30; payment into the Fish and Wildlife Fund due within 30 days

Commissioner must report lost revenue accounting to Senate Appropriations, Senate Finance, House Appropriations, and House Ways and Means committees annually by January 15

Effective date: July 1, 2026
