Redefines "prohibited place" for cannabis consumption to align with existing tobacco restrictions under 18 V.S.A. chapter 37, rather than the previous broader "public place" definition that included streets, parks, sidewalks, and public buildings

Removes the requirement that personal cannabis cultivation areas be screened from public view and accessible only to persons 21 or older with permission

Removes the provision making cannabis possessed or consumed in violation of state law subject to seizure and forfeiture as contraband

Grants municipalities explicit authority to regulate or prohibit possession of lighted cannabis and consumption of cannabis products in public places
